The team of MIT consists of a German graduate chemist with phD who has many years of experience of researching in a large chemical company in Germany and Japan, and a Japanese business partner who has acquired master’s degree in language teaching in English-speaking countries.　

Strengths backed by 25 years of history

Maurer-Inaba-Translations was founded in  North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, about 25 years ago.

In the beginning our company was mainly engaged with the translation of Japanese patents and scientific articles for the research institute of a major chemical company in Monheim, Germany.

Later, relationships to patent law offices in Munich developed from this activities, which is why the company headquarters were moved to the Bavarian capital at the beginning of the 2000s. At the same time, we expanded our range of services and since then we are additionally offering Japanese-German (English) interpreting services (conferences, trade fairs, medical care and the like).

We specialize in the translation of scientific texts and patents in the field of chemistry, medicine, etc. from Japanese to German or English. Of course we also translate other general texts such as brochures, company profiles, PowerPoint presentations, homepages and much more from Japanese to German and English and vice versa. We also have great experience in translating Japanese textbooks dealing with techniques for sewing clothing and bags of all kinds.

In addition, we are now able to offer seminars on intercultural training for German company employees that are being prepared for a job in Japan.
